School Based Education

Our Body Safety program is based on best practices in abuse prevention drawn from child safety experts, educators, and national and state guidelines.  Lessons are fun, age-appropriate, and engaging for students at all levels.  We use puppets, group discussions, and videos to deliver important messages in a child-friendly way.

Participation is completely voluntary. Our goal is to help students and their caregivers learn simple, powerful ways to help keep kids safe.

  • My favorite part was learning about the NO GO TELL! rule. I think it is very helpful.

  • We love this program and think it is done in a very appropriate, kid friendly way. Thank you!

Kindergarten Program

Our kindergarten curriculum is designed with little learners in mind. Over four weeks, children participate in four 15-minute lessons that gently introduce body safety concepts in a way that’s age-appropriate and easy to understand. We use puppets, books, songs, and worksheets to help kids learn how to stay safe and speak up. Kindergarten lessons are available in English or Spanish.

  • Week 1 - The personal space bubble
  • Week 2 - Safe & unsafe touch, recognizing the “uh oh” feeling, saying stop
  • Week 3 - Private parts are covered by a swimsuit and those parts are not for sharing
  • Week 4 - Telling trusted adults

Third Grade Program

Our third grade curriculum builds safety skills with four fun 30-minute lessons delivered over four weeks. Each session is designed to spark meaningful conversations and reinforce key concepts in a way that’s clear, relatable, and age-appropriate. We use a dynamic mix of puppets, books, videos, worksheets and interactive activities to help kids feel confident, informed, and empowered. Third grade lessons are available in English or Spanish.

  • Week 1- The Body Safety Rules
  • Week 2 - Telling a trusted adult.  The difference between secrets, surprises, and personal information

Fifth Grade Program

Our fifth grade lesson is a one-time, 50-minute session designed to help students build confidence and awareness around personal safety—both in real life and online. It is interactive and engaging, with peer-to-peer discussions, group activities, problem-solving challenges, and cartoon-style videos that make learning feel relatable for fifth grade learners.
