Vehicle Donations
Cars, campers, even boats: if you are finished with it and would like an easy way to turn it into good works through a donation to Blue Sky Bridge, simply call us at 303.444.1388 to find out more. Even if it no longer runs, the donation of your old vehicle to Blue Sky Bridge can make a difference and is tax-deductible!
Hold an Event to Benefit Blue Sky Bridge
Perhaps your business, book group or congregation would be interested in offering support to Blue Sky Bridge, or you will be celebrating a special occasion and would like for your friends and family to direct their gifts here. We will be happy to provide all of the information you need, including a program about our work, if that would be helpful.
Adopt a School
- School Personnel: A training on recognizing the signs of abuse, mandatory reporting laws and appropriate steps in handling a disclosure of abuse.
- Parents: A presentation on recognizing signs of abuse, how to proceed when a child discloses abuse, proactive parenting strategies, characteristics of safe homes and an orientation to the 3rd grade Children’s curriculum.
- Children: A third grade program consisting of four thirty-minute class presentations. These presentations are developmentally age-appropriate classes with an emphasis on touching rules and body safety rules, difference between secrets and surprises, identifying trust adults and the “No, Go Tell” plan. The curriculum utilizes teaching techniques including puppets, repeated review of key points, visual illustrations and handouts as well and interactive discussion. Pre and post questionnaires are utilized to assist the team in understanding current knowledge in the area and to evaluate learning.
