Robin Friesen-Holwell is the Prevention Education Manager at Blue Sky Bridge, and she supports Child Abuse Prevention Month. Robin's role enables her to work with a dedicated group of volunteers (Education Committee) within the Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley School Districts educating third grade students about touching rules and body safety, identifying trusted adults, and the “No, Go, Tell Plan”. She is committed to the goal of expanding awareness of these issues in order to create a safer community for children and families. Robin's favorite color is leopard and she recently finished reading a book called "A Little Life" by novelist Hanya Yanagihara which addresses trauma, abuse, addiction, and more. Thank you, Robin, for all you do for Blue Sky Bridge and our Boulder community! #CAPMonth #PowerinPrevention
Thank you Alexander Dawson School for helping to stuff, stamp, and seal our invitations for A Moveable Feast! These 5th graders did an awesome job. Invites are in the mail and tickets will go on sale this Friday, April 29th. #service #grateful #AMF2016
Leslie Allen and Ann Goldman are the Co-Founders of Front Range Source, and they support Child Abuse Prevention Month. Front Range Source is a company that helps nonprofits get the resources they need to achieve their vision for a better world. Leslie and Ann were enormously influential (and still are) in the planning and implementation of the Blue Sky Bridge expansion project with a goal of $1.5 million to expand services to Boulder County's children. Their wisdom and expertise helped guide our organization through an unfamiliar process, turning vision into reality. Since September 2015, we have raised $1,082,212 towards our goal - and we couldn't have done it without them! We still have more work to do, but we're confident that with their help - we will get there! #CAPMonth #Boulder #Consulting #thankful
