Child Advocacy

In 2011, we anticipate serving over 1,200 children, families, and community members.

Blue Sky Bridge uses a victim-centered approach to eliminate the trauma that children can suffer during child abuse investigations and intervention. Our building provides a warm, comfortable environment where children are interviewed regarding allegations or suspicions of abuse. This home-like environment includes an indoor and outdoor play are for children waiting to be interviewed, as well as a full kitchen where children and families can have a meal or a snack.

Forensic Interview

Through our interview standards and procedures, Blue Sky Bridge offers non-duplicative, legally sound, neutral interviews with children who are reported victims of abuse or witnesses to violence. These interviews are conducted by masters-level, highly trained forensic interviewers in child-friendly interview rooms, specifically designed to make children feel comfortable.
